Strategy & performance advisory

Measure.Align.Then build.

OKRs not working? Often they were never the right fit. Merkhet Advisory helps mid-size companies find the goal system that actually fits, and make it work.

The idea

Set a true direction before building.

A merkhet was an instrument for measuring and alignment: setting a true direction before anything was built.

Two balanced planes, aligned by a precise vertical axis and a single focal point: clarity, measurement and strategic alignment.

  • Measure

    Clarity based on real insight

  • Align

    People, strategy and execution

  • Then build

    Sustainable performance

01.  Services

Framework-neutral by design.

We do not sell OKRs. We help you decide whether they are the right tool, then make whichever system you choose work.

All services
  • Goal-system fit assessment

Are OKRs right for your company, culture and industry, or would KPIs, SMART objectives or a hybrid serve you better?

  • Readiness and recovery diagnostic

Is the organisation ready for the chosen system, or, if OKRs are already in place, why are they failing?

  • Foundation and implementation

Build the system and the habits that make it work, sized for a 50 to 300 person organisation.

02.  The approach

The right framework starts with the right diagnosis.

How we work
  1. Step 1: Fit

Are OKRs right for your company, culture and industry, or is something simpler better?

  2. Step 2: Readiness

Is the organisation ready, or why are existing OKRs failing?

  3. Step 3: Foundation

Build the system and the habits that make it work.

03.  About

Learned the hard way, applied with care.

Mohamed Raafat is a mechanical engineer turned strategy practitioner with over 13 years in strategy, performance management and OKR implementation. Much of what he knows about OKRs he learned from implementations that did not work, which is why Merkhet starts by checking whether the framework fits before building anything.
